Desert Hawk (Summer Encampment)

Desert Hawk XXI Important Information

If you would like to attend this year's Utah Wing Summer Encampment, Monday, 24 June to Sunday 30 June, 2024, at the Historic Wendover Airbase Training Facility, please complete the following steps:

1. Register in the Registration Zone module of eServices. [link]
   • Before attending encampment, the following prerequisites must be met:
     • Students will need to complete their Curry Achievement (Achievment 1/Cadet Airman) to attend
     • Cadre must have attended a previous encampment as a student
     • Seniors must have completed Level 1 of the Education and Training Program
     • All participants 18 or older must be current on their Cadet Protection Policy Training
   • You may register before you have completed the prerequisites above. However, if you have not completed your prerequisites by 24 May 2024, you will be removed from the activity and you will not be able to attend.
2. Fill out the online application package. [link]
3. Pay the tuition through the Wing payment portal. [link <— Will be updated when we begin accepting payments]
   • Students: $275
   • Cadet Cadre: $200
   • Seniors: No fee
4. Parents of cadet students and cadre under 18 will receive a follow-up email from us to confirm a few things. The email we will use is the parent contact information that is listed for your cadet in eServices. This email will come from DesertHawk@utwg.cap.gov.

Registration, the online application package, and payment are all due by 24 May 2024.
