CAP-UAS Academy

Participants will be immersed in UAS education and training for Cadets and seniors, which includes hands-on flight experience. Cadets will earn the CAP UAS badge. Cadets and Seniors can become sUAS certified as technicians and/or mission pilots if they arrive with completed prerequisites.

All participants will:

• Review FAA rules and regulations for sUAS operations

• Learn CAP rules and regulations for sUAS operations

• Practice hands-on flying with both fixed-wing and rotary-wing drones

• Participate in a small exercise for an actual CAP sUAS mission simulation

• Discover how drones can complement all 3 CAP missions

Event starts on Tuesday at 1000 and finishes Friday around 1430. Early arrival on Monday available.

Only $150 for cadets, $175 for seniors, and $100 for staff;
