To culminate the evening, we will proudly present the Utah Wing Annual Awards, recognizing those whose dedication and achievements have elevated the Wing throughout the year.

Les Patterson
Staff Sergeant Les Patterson is a retired Army veteran who served 24 years with the Utah Army National Guard, including a combat tour in Iraq.
He is a Leadership and Patriotic Speaker, Business Coach, and advocate for veterans through the Rocky Mountain Veteran Center’s Heroes Tribute, honoring Fallen Military, Gold Star Families, and Local Veterans while raising awareness of the 22 veterans killed by suicide each day.
Having faced his own mental health struggles, open heart surgery, and now walking his third healing journey with cancer, Les lives as a Sound Heart Champion, empowering himself and others to Rise in Abundant Hope and Soar in Confident Greatness.
Les is the founder and Chief Storyteller of Red Edge Mentoring, which he leads with his angel wife, Elisa. They are the proud parents of three veteran sons, two lovely daughters, and grandparents to three. Married for 37 years, Les and Elisa make their home in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah.
